Schedule of UPTAC Counselling 2026

The complete schedule for UPTAC Counseling 2026 would be scheduled from May 2026 to October 2026. This schedule includes rounds for registration, choice filling, three rounds of allotment and physical reporting. If we are to go by previous years’ trends, registration would begin somewhere around May 2026 and end by July 2026. Also, the Special Round would be open to outside-UP candidates, for the first time.

The official schedule would be published by AKTU on https://uptac.admissions.nic.in after the release of JEE Main and CUET results. There would be a specific deadline to each of the steps, and AKTU generally doesn’t grant extension unless there is an official announcement.

Students will have to remember the dates of each step, since failing to meet just one deadline- for instance, the deadline to physically report-could lead to cancellation of the seat and forfeiture of the fee even if registration and choice filling have been successfully completed.
